Two amounts, two destinations.

RM 50 BabeDive joining fee
One-time, per trip booking. You pay this to BabeDive via Stripe. It unlocks direct messaging with the dive master for that specific trip.

Trip cost (varies per trip)
Paid directly to the dive master after contact unlocks — bank transfer / cash / e-wallet, whichever you both agree. BabeDive does not collect this.

No monthly subscriptions. No hidden fees. We earn only when you actually book a trip you love.

Quick answers to what most divers ask before booking their first trip.

How do I sign up for BabeDive?
Click 'Sign in' in the top-right, then choose 'Create account'. You can sign up with email + password or with Google. Either way, you'll get a verification email — click the link inside to confirm your address. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds.
I didn't get the verification email — what now?
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, sign in again and request a new link from the prompt at the top of the page. Some corporate inboxes block our sender — Gmail / Outlook / Yahoo always work. If you still can't get the email, contact us and we'll verify you manually.
Do I need to fill in my whole profile right away?
No. The minimum to book a trip is a name and a verified email. Photo, bio, certifications, languages and interests are optional but help dive masters get to know you, which often means faster replies and better trip matches.

We need to know who you are so we can follow up. Sign-in only takes a few seconds.

How does the joining fee work?
Each trip has a one-time joining fee (currently RM 50) that you pay to BabeDive via Stripe when you reserve a spot. This unlocks direct messaging with the dive master for that trip so you can sort logistics together — pickup point, gear, payment method, anything. It's per trip, not per month.
How much does the actual trip cost?
The trip cost is set by the dive master and shown on every trip card. You pay this amount directly to the dive master after contact is unlocked — bank transfer, e-wallet, or cash, whichever you both agree. BabeDive does not collect this money.
Can I get a refund on the joining fee?
Yes, but only before contact is unlocked. Once you've messaged the dive master, the joining fee is non-refundable because we've already paid Stripe and the dive master has invested time replying to you. Trip refunds (the bigger amount you paid the DM) are handled directly between you and the dive master under their cancellation policy.
What does 'contact unlocked' actually mean?
After your joining fee clears, the dive master's direct message thread opens for that trip — usually within seconds. You'll see a green 'Contact unlocked' badge and a 'Message' button on the trip page. Use it to confirm details, ask questions, and arrange payment for the trip itself.

How do I become a dive master on BabeDive?
Open your profile and click 'Become a dive master'. You'll be asked for your certification body (PADI / SSI / RAID / others), level, and certification number, plus a short bio. Upload a photo of your certification card. Our team reviews submissions within 1–3 working days. Once approved, you can publish trips.
What certification documents do I need to upload?
At minimum: a clear photo of your current dive-master or instructor card (front side, showing your name and cert number). If you have additional certs (Rescue, Cave, Tec, first-aid, EFR), upload those too — they appear as chips on your profile and help build trust with divers.
How do reviews and verification work?
After every completed trip, divers can leave a 1–5 star review. Once you reach 5+ reviews with an average ≥ 4.0, your profile shows a 'Verified' badge. Verified DMs get more visibility in search and on the homepage. Reviews can't be deleted by you, but you can reply publicly.

Is my personal data safe on BabeDive?
Yes. We comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Your email, phone, and DOB are never sold or shared with third parties without your consent. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Photos are stored in private buckets and only served via short-lived signed URLs.
How do I block or report a user?
On any user profile, tap the '⋯' menu and choose 'Block' or 'Report'. Blocking hides their content from your feed and prevents them from messaging you. Reports go straight to our moderation queue — we investigate every one and respond within 1 working day.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, any time. Go to Profile → Edit → Account → 'Delete account'. We soft-delete first (your content disappears, your data is retained for 30 days in case of accidental deletion or legal hold), then permanently purge after 30 days. Trip records linked to other users may be anonymised rather than fully deleted, for accounting reasons.

Which browsers does BabeDive support?
We officially support the latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. The site works on mobile browsers too — it's designed mobile-first. Internet Explorer is not supported. If something looks broken on your browser, please let us know with a screenshot.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet — we're web-only for now, but the site works great on mobile. You can 'Add to home screen' from your browser and it behaves like an app (Progressive Web App). A dedicated iOS / Android app is on our roadmap once we hit critical user mass.
